Description from the seller

High-level artisanal craftsmanship executed in the early 1900s.

* Cutwork embroidery (cutwork): the floral motif was obtained by cutting the fabric and finishing each edge by hand with a blanket stitch. It was a very refined technique.
* Decorative pulled-thread work along the left side: a thread-by-thread technique, very common in high-end ensembles from the late 19th to the early 20th century.
* Stylized floral motif with leaves and small buds, typical of the Liberty style of the early 1900s, but already present in the final decades of the 19th century.
* The fabric is very fine linen. The weave is regular and tight, characteristic of high-quality linens used for important ensembles.
The initials are A.P.
Exact measurements are 260 cm in width and 254 cm in length
