Description from the seller

1. Crystal Decanter with Sterling Silver "PORT" Label. The label features full British sterling silver hallmarks, precisely identifying its provenance: maker's mark: "B&Co" for Broadway & Co. (William Benjamin Broadway, established in Birmingham in 1900), town mark: an anchor, certifying it was assayed in Birmingham. standard mark: a lion passant, confirming British sterling silver (.925 purity) and date letter: a stylized Gothic/Old English lowercase p, corresponding to the year 1939. 33 x 11 cm, 880 g.

2. Etched Crystal Decanter with Ribbon Motifs. A slender, conical/frustum-shaped decanter that widens elegantly toward the base. It comes with its original, perfectly fitting solid ball/spherical glass stopper. Beautifully wheel-engraved (etched) decoration featuring an upper band of oval dots, followed by draped swags and tied ribbon bows. The glass is otherwise smooth, tapering down to a thick, heavy clear base that provides excellent stability and brilliantly catches the light. 31 x 9 cm, 615 g.

Both decanters and their respective stoppers are in excellent vintage/antique condition. The glass is clear with no cloudiness, chips, cracks, or scratches. The sterling silver label shows a gorgeous natural age patina (tarnishing) that highlights the depth of the embossed details, but it can be polished to a bright shine if desired.

Will be adequately packaged and shipped with with Track & Trace.
