A Bronze Spiral Bracelet (or Armlet), 12th - 9th Century B.C.
Elegant bronze spiral bracelet formed from a thick, rounded rod coiled into overlapping loops. The piece displays a fine green and grey patina with areas of stable encrustation, characteristic of Late Bronze Age metalwork. The open spiral design allowed it to be easily slipped onto the wrist or arm and was a popular form of personal adornment and status symbol during this period.
Spiral bracelets of this type are well-documented across Central Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean during the late 2nd to early 1st millennium B.C., often found in hoards and high-status burials.

Acquired in the Netherlands from a Dutch private collection, formed in the 2000s.
