Statuette - Bronze - Djenné - Mali.

Bronze alloy figure from the Djenné region.
The figure is depicted kneeling, resting on two supports shaped like an inverted U.
It could be a beggar with a disability moving on its knees;
The man is bearded and wearing a pointed headdress.
The eyes are almond-shaped with well-marked eyelids.
The nose is straight and the mouth is clearly defined.
The same ancient representations also exist in terracotta.
The patina is greenish, due to oxidation.
Good condition despite its age.
