Liquor cabinet - Wood - Art Deco

Beautiful and rare Dutch Art Deco cocktail sideboard / bar cabinet, dating from approximately the 1920s - 1930s.

The piece is executed in richly figured wood veneer with strong architectural lines, rounded glazed side compartments and characteristic circular stepped handles. The central section opens to reveal a swivelling cocktail tray with a red glass serving surface, bottle carousel and a small shelf to hang glasses.

This type of design is often associated with the Dutch Amsterdam School / Art Deco period, with possibly Hague School influence.

A very decorative and functional statement piece.

Good antique condition with signs of age and use consistent with its age. The keys are missing
