Tooth with a crown, belonging to Lapparentosaurus, a sauropod from the Jurassic of Madagascar.
The piece shows very good preservation, with the fine, elongated morphology typical of basal sauropods on the island.
The teeth of this species are uncommon, as they are usually found highly fragmented due to feeding wear and the fragility of the dental tissue.
Representative and valuable specimen for collections focused on African Jurassic dinosaurs.
Restoration:
