Complete Mosasaurus vertebra preserved in a large natural matrix, an extremely rare format and very hard to find in original state.
Complete mosasaur vertebrae are usually found loose or fragmented, so a whole specimen in matrix represents a high-end collectible piece.
The morphology is perfectly defined, with the centra and articular surfaces well preserved, showing the robust structure typical of these marine giants of the Cretaceous.
The matrix, wide and stable, provides a spectacular and highly sought presentation for display pieces.
