Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Pentacon 5.6/500mm lens with an M42 mount, tested and working, in good condition, including the original lens case and marked Made in G.D.R.
Description from the seller
Pentacon 5.6 / 500mm lens, including lens case.
Inscription ‘Made in G.D.R.’ (German Democratic Republic)
This iconic lens is also very well suited to be used as an impressive ornament (see photos).
The diaphragm blades operate without snagging, the setting works smoothly. Focusing proceeds smoothly in the well-known somewhat heavy Pentacon manner. The lens shows signs of use, and the front element has some scratches and some fungus. This will have little impact on photo quality, as this is well within the nearest focusing distance.
At the bottom, in one spot, the paint has worn off; there is no rust to be seen (see photo).
The case is original, apart from a small strip that runs directly over the lid. I removed that once because it got in the way when in use.
The leather of the case is decent, the leather straps show drying cracks.
Look carefully at the photos, they form part of the description.
NB! The Praktica EE3 camera and the Manfrotto tripod shown in some photos are not included. These serve only as aids for taking the photos and to give an impression of the lens size.
NB! The Praktica EE3 is for sale in my other lot.
