Quarz 1x8S-2 Movie camera

Vintage Soviet Quarz 1x8S-2 Super 8 cine camera with Meteor-8M-1 zoom lens 1.8/9–38 mm. Made in USSR.

The camera is in good visual condition, with normal signs of age and use. The body is clean, the markings are readable, and the lens presents well. The camera comes with the pistol grip and Y-2x 46x0.75 filter shown in the photos.

Mechanically tested:

* The spring motor works.
* When the release button is pressed, the camera runs and the frame movement/counter sound is audible.
* The speed selector works — changing the setting increases or decreases the running speed.
* Zoom works.
* Focus works when checked through the viewfinder.
* The viewfinder image is visible.
* Not tested with film.
* Light meter not tested.

The lens appears visually clean from external inspection, with normal age-related dust possible. Please check the photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
