Splendid vintage five-light wall sconce, made in the mid-20th century, 1960s/1970s, in Baroque / Louis XV style with rich decoration featuring foliate motifs and scrolls. The central body presents an elaborate design inspired by nature, typical of artistic craftsmanship of the 20th century (Florentine or French style). The details reproduce finely worked acanthus leaves that extend upward and to the sides. It is made of metal (likely stamped sheet metal) with an all-gold leaf finish, showing a beautiful patina of age.
