Beautiful set of three antique brass altar candelabra, 19th century, circa 1850–1900. The set consists of one larger central candelabrum and two smaller matching side candelabra.
The pieces are richly decorated with Eucharistic motifs: grape clusters, vine leaves, wheat ears and flowers, symbolizing the wine and bread of the Eucharist. The bases are ornamented with Gothic Revival openwork, scrolls and foliate feet. The brass has been polished and presents beautifully with a warm golden tone.
Dimensions:
Central candelabrum: 60 × 38 cm
Side candelabra: 43 × 31 cm each
Condition: good antique condition with normal signs of age, small bends, surface wear and oxidation consistent with age and ecclesiastical use. Very decorative and suitable for chapel, altar, religious interior, collector or antique display.
