Philips - CD151 CD player

For sale: a very nice Philips CD151 CD player from the 1980s with the legendary Philips TDA1540 DAC (14-bit). A classic from the early days of the CD era. In fine condition, tested and in working order.

This model is technically identical to the well-known CD150, with the same swing-arm transport and the same build. The only difference is that the CD151 does not support a remote control.

The player works well and plays CDs from start to finish without any problems. All functions such as pause, skip and rewind/fast-forward work excellently. The transport is not completely silent while playing. This does not affect operation, but I’d like to mention it honestly. Possibly a light lubrication is needed or it is simply part of the CDM transport mechanism.
