Beautiful 18th-century pink-lidded pot or bonbonnière for jam or sweets. This rare glass pot dates from the Louis XV period and is made of blown glass. This bonbonnière (also called bezel or jam pot), intended for serving various confections, is round in shape and features a beautiful and unusual decoration of honeycomb cells on all surfaces of both parts; the base is slightly recessed and rests on a thin glass foot rim. The lid is fitted with a knob that provides a good grip.

Dimensions: 10 x 14.8 cm
Condition: fair, small crack in the base, craquelure throughout the glass. (see photos)
Dating: 1725-1775.

Prachtige 18e-eeuwse roze dekselpot of bonbonnière voor jam of snoepgoed. Deze zeldzame glazen pot dateert uit de periode van Lodewijk XV en is vervaardigd uit geblazen glas. Deze bonbonnière (ook wel bezel of jampot genoemd), bedoeld voor het serveren van diverse zoetigheden, is rond van vorm en voorzien van een prachtige en ongebruikelijke versiering van honingraat cellen op alle oppervlakken van de twee delen; de bodem is lichtjes teruggetrokken en rust op een dun glazen voetrand, Het deksel is voorzien van een knop die een goede grip biedt.

Conditie: redelijk, klein barstje in bodem, craquele-vorming in het gehele glas. (zie foto's)
