Large Pair of Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Covered Vases – Dragon Decor – 31 cm

An impressive pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel vases with matching covers, raised on elegant pedestal bases. The bodies are richly decorated with vibrant imperial dragons flying among stylized clouds above rolling waves, a traditional symbol of power, prosperity and protection.

Finely executed on a copper body using traditional cloisonné techniques, with intricate wirework and vivid enamel colours. The interiors are finished in turquoise enamel and the original covers are topped with bronze finials.

A highly decorative and striking pair, ideal for collectors of Asian art and cloisonné enamels.
