Frequency response: from 30 Hz to 30 kHz
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 1%
Damping Factor: 20
Signal-to-Noise Ratio (S/N): * 60 dB (Phono input)
65 dB (line inputs)
Input sensitivity: * 2 mV (MM cartridge - Phono)
120 mV (line)
Inputs and Connectivity
Front and rear panels feature the era’s source connections:

Tape Recorder: input/output for cassette or reel-to-reel recorders.

Design and Control Features
The Luxman 707 II is famous for its four-section, dual-tone-control layout which is distinctive:
Separate Tone Controls: Four dedicated knobs for fine adjustment of the left and right channels, for Treble and Bass.
Toggle switches: Allow quick emphasis or attenuation of frequencies (intense / mild), switch from Stereo to Mono, enable Tape Monitor, and select speaker outputs.
Size and Weight
Dimensions: 373 × 125 × 227 mm
Weight: Approximately 4.9 kg
Usage note: Being a 17W-per-channel amplifier, it performs best when paired with vintage or modern high-sensitivity speakers (at least 90 dB or higher) in small-to-medium rooms.
