Description from the seller
New edition (mention of the fifth edition) whose original appeared in 1910.
The work did not find its audience right away.
First stage adaptation created in 1911.
Then, in spring 1912, it was presented in three evenings, at the Théâtre Antoine, the adaptation by Roussel himself of his book, which would be attended by Guillaume Apollinaire, Francis Picabia, Gabrielle Buffet and Marcel Duchamp.

He declined the invitation to join them.
