Description from the seller

A classical style, antique wooden pedestal or flower stand (sellette / guéridon), which mostly bears the marks of the French Louis XVI or Directoire style, and is believed to date from the late 19th.
Main features and style notes:
Structure: A tall, slender side table, which is excellent for placing statues, vases or plants.
Decoration: The edge of the round tabletop is decorated with a detailed, carved garland or leaf pattern frieze. The legs are classically styled, notched (grooved).
Bottom connecting element: The four legs are connected at the bottom by a wicker (made with Viennese wicker) shelf or connecting element, which enhances stability and decorative appearance.
Tabletop: Instead of the original marble-inlaid tabletops, this piece features a glass top with a handmade lace tablecloth placed underneath.
The table is in very good condition for its age, it has been reinforced to make it stable. The paint is still original, so it is worn in many places, you could say it has a patina. The glass top is completely scratch-free, we installed it not long ago.
We will mail it together with the lace placed under the glass. Of course, it is replaceable, you can put anything in it, there is room.

We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
