Description from the seller

A table that is sculpture before furniture. The central bulb-turned column opens into four acanthus-leaf carved feet with a scroll-like terminus — a job of expert hands that, over more than a century, has not suffered a scratch. The round top in walnut burl, through its natural veins, tells a story of forests and seasons, every fiber of the wood an irreplaceable design.

Louis-Philippe style, presumably late 1800s, of Lombard origin. Italian artisanal craftsmanship of high quality. Preserves the original extension mechanism perfectly functioning, complete with the original period extensions — a rare fortune to find them still present and intact after generations.

Direct family provenance. First sale. A piece that has withstood time without ever losing its dignity, ready to return to the forefront of a dining room.

Excellent condition, solid and intact structure, top with the natural patina of age. No restorations, no alterations.

Pickup at buyer's expense and responsibility. Any disassembly and transport outside the home are entirely at the buyer's charge.
