Magnificent mechanical mantel clock by the renowned German brand Junghans, in excellent condition and fully operational. Architectural-style dark wood case with a hinged glass door and decorative carvings.The main highlight of this high-grade model is its dial featuring a visible Brocot open escapement at the center and a brass micrometric regulation wheel. Inside, it features the highly sought-after ornamental twin-cylinder faux-mercury pendulum. The backplate proudly displays the original golden Junghans 8-point star logo in pristine condition.Movement: Mechanical wind-up movement with a visible escapement at the center of the dial.Condition: Excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Fully operational (keeps time and strikes on the metallic gong). Complete with its original brass winding key and original pendulum.Access: Robust front door hinge and side metal latch are in perfect working order.
