Description from the seller
Art Deco-style table, crafted with premium veneer in selected burl wood, with rich, deep grains that create a warm and elegant dramatic effect.
The top, wide and slightly shaped, is adorned with a delicate inlaid edge trimming along the border, executed with great precision. The mirror-polished finish enhances the raw material, highlighting the natural figure of the wood.
The structure is characterized by:
- column legs with elliptical bases, solid and well-proportioned
- central curved crosspiece, a distinctive element that recalls the geometric and dynamic taste of the era
- balance between soft lines and substantial volumes, typical of Deco design.
A high-quality artisanal piece, recognizable in the precision of the inlays, in the continuity of the veneers (carefully matched) and in the glossy multi-pass finish.
Construction highlights traditional cabinetmaking techniques, with attention to both structural solidity and aesthetics.
This piece fits within the Art Deco thread, an international movement developed between the 1920s and 1940s, characterized by elegance, luxury and modernity.
It evokes the taste of the great master designers active between France and Italy, where furniture production united high-level craftsmanship and stylistic innovation, destined for bourgeois residences and representative settings.
