Description: Elegant and refined swivel piano stool dating to the latter half of the 19th century, fully attributable to Napoleon III style.
The piece is made of precious mahogany wood and is embellished with metal border inlays along the profiles, a typical feature of French Second Empire cabinetmaking. The item has previously undergone conservative restoration work, which has preserved its stability and overall structure.

Mechanism: The iron lifting screw is original and perfectly functioning. It allows height adjustment smoothly.
Seat: Retains the original upholstery and the basic weave of the period. The surface fabric is completely worn with time, revealing the charm of the original underlying canvas.
