Solid silver jewel box, unmarked but acid-tested, decorated with a miniature on a bone plate painted with a scene of a leopard hunt and other animals fleeing along the shores of a lake.

The miniature is executed with great skill and rich in details, but with delicate colors. The painted plate is protected by a thin glass, or perhaps plexiglass. The box is not polished and shows the characteristic dark tarnish of silver, but easily removable with careful cleaning.

Scatola portagioie in argento massiccio, non marcata ma testata con l’acido , decorata con una miniatura su lamina di osso dipinto con una scena di caccia al leopardo e altri animali in fuga sulle rive di un lago. 
La miniatura è eseguita co grande perizia e ricca di particolari, ma co colori delicati. La lamina dipinta è protetta da un sottile vetro , o forse plexiglas .la scatola non è lucidata e presenta le tipiche macchie scure dell’argento, ma facilmente eliminabili con una accurata pulizia
