Very fine Neo-Gothic incense burner, in good condition. The antique thurible (incense burner) has four chains; one is for operating the lid. It is a piece of substantial quality. The lid is shaped like a church with a spire and openwork windows, allowing the incense smoke to escape in an atmospheric way. The chains are complete and enable the censer to be hung or used during liturgical ceremonies. The cup is adorned with engraved Gothic decorations and rests on an elegant, profiled foot. A decorative and characterful ecclesiastical object, suitable as a collectible, religious decoration, or interior accent.
