Offered is a truly exceptional Sony TA-5650 V-FET Integrated Amplifier, one of Sony's most desirable vintage amplifiers, renowned for its unique V-FET output stage and warm, natural sound reproduction.

This amplifier has been part of my personal collection for the past 12 years, and I am only the second owner.

An important part of its history is that the original owner had the amplifier serviced under Sony warranty by Sony Brandsteder in Badhoevedorp (The Netherlands) in approximately 1975. During this service, the well-known original diodes and the V-FET output devices were replaced by Sony. The amplifier still retains a perfectly matched set of V-FETs, all carrying the identical ranking "55", as shown in the photographs.

For long-term reliability, the amplifier has been fully recapped using high-quality capacitors. In addition, the power supply has been professionally modified to further improve reliability while preserving the amplifier's original Sony character.

Cosmetically, the amplifier is in near mint condition, showing only minimal signs of age. It has clearly been exceptionally well cared for throughout its life.
