Description:
Offered a stunning and iconic vintage earthenware jug/pot, manufactured by the renowned Italian producer Fratelli Fanciullacci in the 50s or 60s. This piece is a perfect example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design.
The jug has a very recognizable and expressive texture: a smooth, glossy turquoise neck and a contrasting rough underside with a carved horizontal pattern. This relief is decorated with a blue diamond-shaped network and vivid, hand‑colored raised bumps in yellow, red, blue and green.
On the underside marked with the model number 3680 and handwritten "Italy" in yellow glaze (see photo 20260629_173101.jpg).
