Hertel Jacob Bavaria - Art Deco Silver Overlay Porcelain Tea/Coffee Set (3 Pieces) - 1930s
A beautiful and highly collectible 3-piece Art Deco porcelain service set featuring stunning sterling silver overlay decoration. Manufactured by the renowned German porcelain factory Hertel Jacob in Rehau (Bavaria) during the 1930s.
The set features a delicate, warm ivory/creamy porcelain base.
The exterior is adorned with an exquisite, stylized Art Deco silver overlay design depicting birds perched among elegant branches and foliage.
Heavy silver overlay completely covers the handles, spouts, and the scalloped bases of each piece.
The set consists of:
- 1 Tall Coffee / Tea Pot with matching lid
- 1 Sugar Bowl with twin handles and matching lid
- 1 Creamer / Milk Jug
Markings:
Each piece features the official green underglaze stamp showing a leaping deer over "Hertel Jacob / Bavaria / Germany", registered in the 1930s.
Additionally, all pieces bear the red overglaze export mark "MADE IN GERMANY".
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition for its age.
- The porcelain body is completely free of any cracks, hairlines, or chips.
- Both lids are intact and present.
