Description from the seller
Item Description
This is a Technics SH-8075 Stereo Graphic Equalizer. It is a high-quality 2-channel graphic equalizer manufactured by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic) under the Technics brand for the Japanese domestic market. The SH-8075 is well known as a classic piece of Japanese vintage Hi-Fi equipment, featuring 34 bands (16 Hz–25 kHz) of sliders arranged in two independent rows for each left and right channel, allowing precise control over the frequency response of your audio system.
Each channel is equipped with an independent variable EQ section, featuring a bandwidth (Q) control knob and a center frequency knob, enabling parametric-style adjustments in addition to the graphic sliders. Also included are an EQ on/off switch, a rec mode selector (Straight/EQ), and an input selector for Source, Tape 1, and Tape 2. The rear panel provides line inputs and outputs for amplifier connection, RCA terminals for recording and playback on Tape Deck 1 and 2, a signal level toggle switch (High/Low), and an unswitched AC outlet (max. 150 W).
Power-on operation has been confirmed, and audio output from both left and right channels has been verified. Slider operation across all frequency bands functions normally. Please note that no measurement equipment has been used to verify precise frequency response figures. If studio-grade accuracy is required, calibration by a qualified technician is recommended.
As a known issue, the indicator lamps on some of the frequency sliders do not illuminate. This is a common symptom of age-related deterioration seen in many units of this model and does not affect the audio signal.
No accessories are included.
