Description from the seller
Konica EEmatic Deluxe + Konishiroku Hexanon 40mm f/2.8 — selenium-powered rangefinder, no battery needed, made in Japan
Description
This is the Konica EEmatic Deluxe, a beautifully built mid-1960s Japanese rangefinder camera featuring Konica's famous "Electric Eye" selenium-cell automatic exposure system — meaning the camera operates entirely without batteries. The lens is the highly regarded Konishiroku Hexanon 40mm f/2.8, widely considered one of the sharpest fixed lenses in its class, slightly wider than a standard normal lens and excellent for everyday photography. All-metal construction with no plastic — a true classic from Konica's golden age.
