About Le Creuset

Founded in 1925 in Fresnoy-le-Grand, in northern France, Le Creuset is renowned worldwide as one of the most prestigious manufacturers of enameled cast iron. Its famous Volcanic Orange color, inspired by the molten iron’s hue as it exits the mold, has become a true icon of 20th-century culinary design. Productions from the 1970s-1980s are today particularly sought after by collectors for their exceptional build quality, iconic color palette, and remarkable longevity.
The advantages of enameled cast iron

Enameled cast iron is renowned for its unmatched cooking performance. Its strong thermal inertia allows slow, even, and consistent heat diffusion, guaranteeing gentle cooking that preserves flavors and nutritional qualities of foods. It is ideal for stews, saucy dishes, braises, homemade breads, and long, slow cooks.
The enamel naturally protects the iron from oxidation, eases maintenance, and avoids seasoning required for plain cast iron. Extremely robust, an enameled iron casserole can pass through generations and is a durable investment, valued for both its culinary qualities and its timeless elegance.

The casserole will be carefully packed with reinforced protection and shipped with a tracking number to ensure delivery in optimal condition.
