Description from the seller

Voigtländer Folding Camera (1927-1931) – Voigtar 10.5 cm Optics / Ibsor Shutter –

A very beautiful folding camera from the prestigious German brand Voigtländer, produced between 1927 and 1931. It is a historical witness to the transition to roll film photography, combining robust mechanical construction with an incomparable vintage aesthetic.

A notable historical detail: the camera carries the original plate of the famous specialized dealer O. Kullenberg G.M.B.H. of Essen, affixed to the body (visible in the photo). This mark confirms the German commercial origin of the era and adds a unique historical interest for collectors.

Condition of the item: the camera is in good preserved condition. Crucial point: all movable parts have been tested and are perfectly functional.

Mechanical: The central Ibsor shutter operates at all speeds, as do the bellows deployment mechanisms, which are smooth and lock without difficulty.

Optics: The Voigtar 1:6.3 f=10.5 cm anastigmatic lens is clean, with no visible scratches or obstructive mold.

Bellows: The bellows are in good condition, with no holes, ensuring perfect light-tightness.

Aesthetics: The leather covering shows a superb original patina. The metal parts bear the imperial mark D.R.P. (Deutsches Reichs-Patent).

Note: The camera is sold as-is, in the described condition, and carefully prepared for shipping.
