Collection of 15 fans, some of them wooden and hand-painted. All in very good condition, and some have never been used. Fans have a long history, being popular in various cultures, such as in Asia, and in parts of Africa, Europe, and Oceania. They may have symbolic meanings and were used as weapons in ancient times, in addition to being seen as decorative objects or accessories at cultural events. They are also widely used in Spain in cultural dances.
