Grande Table Service Zeh Scherzer Bavaria (31 pcs + Spare Pieces) - Gilded Vermeil and Floral Vines - Circa 1940
Refined and important complete table service from the prestigious German manufacturer Zeh Scherzer & Co. (Rehau, Bavaria), dating from the golden era of production between 1930 and 1950.
The service is made in the finest white porcelain, characterized by the splendid wavy shape (Model No. 146) and embellished with the No. 396 decoration, which features elegant and delicate floral vines in romantic pink and yellow tones, finished with a rich border in gilded vermeil. All pieces bear the original green mark with crown under the glaze on the bottom.
The true rarity of this lot lies in the presence of no fewer than 7 large coordinated serving pieces, difficult to find all together and preserved in excellent condition.
The service comprises a total of 31 useful pieces, divided as follows:
• 12 Flat Plates (Ø 25 cm, h 3 cm) - Perfect condition
• 6 Soup Plates (Ø 25 cm, h 4.5 cm) - Perfect condition
• 5 Fruit/Dessert Plates (Ø 20 cm, h 2.2 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Large Tureen with Original Lid (Length 36 cm including handles, total height 19 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Fruit/Centerpiece Stand with Goblet-shaped top (Ø 23 cm, h 12 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Circular Salad Bowl (Ø 24 cm, h 6 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Monobloc Sauce Boat with oval fused base to the bowl (Base 26x14 cm, max height 10 cm) - Shows a slight and superficial vertical crazing of about 3 cm visible both inside and outside, with no chips or cracks (stable).
• 3 Coordinated Serving Plates / Trays in graduated sizes:
• Large: 33.5 x 22.5 cm (h 2.5 cm) - Perfect condition
• Medium: 28 x 18.5 cm (h 2.5 cm) - Perfect condition
• Small: 23.5 x 13.5 cm (h 3 cm) - Perfect condition

CONDITION:
Overall in Excellent/Very Good condition. The porcelain is glossy and the gilded edges are very well preserved for pieces about 80 years old. The only two details to note (the glaze nick on the sauce boat and the extra repaired plate) have been described for maximum transparency and are visible in the macro photos.
SHIPPING AND PACKING:
Given the delicacy and the number of pieces, the service will be strictly divided and shipped in 2 or 3 separate packages. Professional packaging will be used and reinforced with a Box-in-Box technique (double cardboard), thick bubble wrap, and foam barriers to ensure absolute integrity until delivery.
