Marelli Ercole Electric fan - Cast iron

Vintage fan by Ercole Marelli & Co., Milan. This Ercole Marelli fan dates from the early 1940s and is not functioning on 220-volt mains, with all original parts and in perfect condition except the plug. It has a potentiometer. At the base a two-speed speed controller; at the top a lever to engage the oscillation from right to left, fully functional. The fan can also be fixed to the wall via an eyelet on the base. The fan can tilt backward by 45 degrees. The blade is Bakelite. The fan body is green cast iron. At the rear there is a slot for lubricating the motor. The fan is as shown in the photo, the grille is perfect and shiny, everything in excellent condition. It is like new. Comes with a small transformer from 320 to 160 volts.
