French figural mantel clock from 1850–1900, with a marble base and bronze/spelter construction, a mechanical 8‑day movement with half‑hour striking on one bell, height 31.5 cm, width 31 cm, weight 8.3 kg, in good used condition and not currently in working order with a missing front glass.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and figurative clock with marble base. Made according to the example of the famous French artists and brothers Louis Moreau (1855-1919) & Francois Moreau (1857-1930).
At the front of the clock, there is a copper plate with the inscription, "ENFANT AU TAMBOUR " by L&F Moreau, Méd. d’Or.
Beautiful presentation with several beautiful and very detailed details and attributes. (See photos.)
The marble has some small chips at the edges . (See photos.)
The figurative clock has a dial with beautiful and clear numbers.
No idea if the movement is working, but a repair maybe is needed for proper use
The beautiful clock set was made around 1900 in France.
The clock is equipped with a rounded frontset in a beautifully decorated bronze door. It is also protected at the back. The frontglass is missing (See photos.)
