Set of vintage items in testing cases, and vintage ophthalmic lenses formerly used by ophthalmologists or optometrists to perform refraction tests and assess patients’ vision. The collection includes:
- A case and a box with round test lenses from the renowned German brand Busch.
- A vintage case containing a professional display of ophthalmic lenses from the prestigious German brand Carl Zeiss (originating from West Germany).
- A case with an antique optical/ophthalmic instrument from the renowned British firm Curry & Paxton Ltd.
- This piece consists of a specific set of calibrated glass bars and tubes (often associated with ancient optometry tests or refraction devices), presented in its original vintage case lined with blue velvet.
- Five pairs of eyeglass frames with gold plating, featuring a small manufacturer’s mark from Société des Lunetiers on the temple and the manufacturer’s logo on the nose bridge. They were used to correct vision problems.
Each pair of glasses has a different prescription.
