Description from the seller
The artist and designer Valérie D creates everyday life objects such as chairs, tables, lamps, decorative objects and jewelry. Her current technique involves adding flowers, which she harvests and recolors, onto these objects and fixing them with high UV-resistant epoxy resin.
Her technique has evolved over the years to improve durability over time.
Valérie D is passionate about transparency, colors, nature and, more particularly, flowers that she integrates into her works.
Graduated in Product Design from the Saint-Luc Institute in Liège, her work can be found mainly in Europe with private individuals and/or collectors but also in Venezuela where she lived for 2 years.
The work “Wildflowers Lagoon” is a 35 cm diameter glass-like disk of transparent and colored epoxy resin with alcohol inks; the flowers included are recolored wild geraniums. This decorative disk can be placed on a piece of furniture against a wall, hung on a wall (with a turquoise peg that will be included) or suspended. The signature is on the edge of the disk.
This decorative disk is new. It was created at the end of June 2026.
