Elegant small square silver dish in solid 800 silver, dating to the 1960s–1970s, with dimensions 2.0 × 6.8 × 6.8 cm and a weight of 24 g, bearing Italian marks 800 and the Argenteria Zani Brescia maker’s mark "63 BS"; in good vintage condition with a dark patina.
Description from the seller
Elegant and refined square little bowl (usable as a small desk catch-all or candle holder) entirely made in solid silver with 800 fineness.
The item stands out for its finely shaped edges and for a splendid repoussé with beading and twirl along all sides, which creates beautiful plays of light on the surface.
On the bottom, the Italian legal hallmarks are perfectly visible and legible: the fineness "800" inserted in the oval and the historic factory mark "🟄 63 BS", belonging to the prestigious Argenteria Zani of Brescia (Zani Piero & C.), active since 1968 and famous for the quality of its craftsmanship.
Dimensions: Height 2 cm x 6.8 cm x 6.8 cm
Weight: 24 grams
Condition: The item is in good vintage conservation condition, solid and free of dents or deformations. It presents the classic intense dark patina due to natural time oxidation, left on purpose to preserve its antique charm (it can be easily brought back to mirror with a normal silver cleaning).
Shipping: Careful packaging.
