Filing cabinet / Vintage shutter office cabinet – Antonio Ferretti, Milan
Splendid and imposing vintage office filing cabinet, a perfect example of industrial design and Italian craftsmanship from the first half of the 20th century. Made by the famous Antonio Ferretti company of Milan, as evidenced by the original metal plaque visible at the top of the structure.
This piece combines exceptional organizational functionality with timeless retro charm, ideal both as a vintage interior piece for professional offices and as an industrial design element for contemporary home interiors.
Main Features & Construction
Material: Solid high-quality wood with a warm natural tone and clearly visible grain.
Shutter opening: The cabinet features two large horizontal sliding shutters (upper and lower) that slide to reveal or hide the contents.
Interior: The upper section offers a wide compartment divided vertically into two columns, each equipped with numerous thin shelves perfect for organizing documents, folders, books, or magazines.
Removable shelves: In the center, between the two shutters, there are two practical and elegant wooden removable trays/supports, ideal for quickly consulting the extracted documents.
