Description from the seller
Elegant and heavy silver-plated champagne cooler from the prestigious champagne house Louis Roederer.
This classic French cooler is a stunning object for the collector or as a luxurious eye-catcher on a festively laid table. At the front the cooler features the iconic, finely engraved LR monogram in an oval frame. Below it is the characteristic text engraved: "Louis Roederer - Founded in 1776". The design stands out with the wavy top edge and two elegantly shaped handles on the sides.
Made in EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver), a high-quality silver-plated alloy that Roederer used for horeca presentations and promotional purposes in the 1950s–1970s.
This piece belongs to the heavier versions (1432 grams), indicating early production with thicker walls and luxurious finish. The cooler has a timeless look and is both decorative and functional.
Good vintage condition with normal signs of use and age (see photos for an accurate personal impression)
The silvering is present and the piece looks authentic and stylish.
A beautiful and solid vintage item for lovers of champagne memorabilia, hotel silver, design and bar decoration.
