Human face: The lower part of the body centers on a human face with features typical of Lega art: coffee-bean shaped eyes and a pronounced mouth. The forehead is carved with geometric motifs (diamond incisions).

Display base: The piece is mounted on a contemporary black base, used to ensure its stability for display.
In the cultural context of the Lega, such statuettes, often linked to the Bwami initiation society, serve as ritual objects conveying moral and social teachings. The association of human and animal elements is common in this art to represent proverbs or complex philosophical concepts.
