The Tape Recorder Museum is busy renewing its collection. In the near future several beautiful devices will become available.
This time it concerns a stunning refurbished PHILIPS/ARISTONA tape recorder from the mid-1970s.

The tape recorder features, among other things, the following specifications:

- old darkened strings and remnants removed, completely cleaned

- rotating and moving parts: old grease removed and re-oiled or lubricated
- small capacitors in the amplifier section replaced
- the AC187 transistor, which often causes malfunctions, has also been replaced
- finally a new light bulb installed

The best quality recordings are obtained with a new tape.
