Delightful Pair (2) of French frames in full French Riviera style, rectangular, carved and lacquered
Origin France - French Riviera in soft wood worked with a scalpel (scalpell o) in the French Riviera style, a surprise, covered with layers of history past, its original patina shows through, but a conservative restoration would be advisable, although it appears solid and still easily usable. Difficult to find on the antique market, ideal for presenting a small mirror or an important painting.

Very good, well carved, the lacquer finish is bright and all present.
