In addition to the signs, SET is also known among collectors for its brass or copper telephone tokens, used before the introduction of unified tokens.

In 1927 the headquarters were moved to Naples. Together with four other concessionaires (STIPEL, TELVE, TIMO and TETI), it managed the telephone service in Italy on a regional basis.

Merger into SIP: In 1964, all the concessionaires, including SET, were merged by incorporation into SIP (Società Italiana per l'Esercizio Telefonico).

The object is a typical example of advertising and road signage from the 1930s–1950s period
