A piece of Mercedes-Benz history. Official/genuine factory drawing of the 300 SL. This is the official document of the model's market release in 1954. The first units would not begin to be delivered to customers until 1955.
The Mercedes 300 SL "GullWing" is an automotive icon of the 1950s. It is regarded as the first supercar in history, notable for its revolutionary vertically opening doors, a technical necessity derived from its tubular chassis. Introduced in 1954, this competition-derived model is a symbol of innovation, luxury, and timeless design.
Comes with a black wooden frame and synthetic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for shipping with no incidents until you have it in your hands. Exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
