Iconic top-loading model introduced in 1975, renowned for its exceptional mechanical stability and the longevity of its components. The unit is characterized by the famous glass and ferrite crystal (GX) heads that guarantee virtually wear-free operation and extremely high audio fidelity.
The unit adopts a closed-loop dual-capstan transport system aided by an external-rotor hysteresis synchronous motor, a configuration that minimizes wow & flutter. Aesthetically, it presents the classic silver design of the era, enriched by two large illuminated analog VU meters and wood inserts.
