- Grade: MS61 (NGC).
Silver 3 Mark coin corresponding to the Grand Duchy of Baden within the German Empire, featuring a left-facing portrait of the Grand Duke Frederick II, executed in a realistic and sober style, with good modeling of the hair and facial features well defined. The reverse presents the German imperial eagle with wings spread, with crown and central shield, showing a powerful and balanced heraldic composition. The specimen preserves full and well-defined reliefs, relatively clean fields and an attractive original luster with a slight silver patina, displaying minimal surface marks typical of its grade, giving it a solid presence and highly representative of the German state mintings prior to World War I.
