Design Volkswagen Beetle 1967 – Technical Drawing – Frame, framed in a black wooden frame, 93 cm wide by 63 cm high.
Description from the seller
A universal symbol transformed into a car. Official document and representation of the 1967 Volkswagen Beetle, known in the Spanish-speaking world as the Beetle, one of the most balanced and appreciated versions in the long history of Type 1. In 1967, the Beetle reached technical and aesthetic maturity that solidified it as a global icon of accessible, robust, and timeless mobility.
The 1967 Beetle retained the unmistakable silhouette that had defined generations: rounded shapes, prominent headlights, and a compact body that seemed designed more by engineering logic than by passing trends. Its design did not need adornments; its identity was absolute. Every curve reflected a philosophy of simplicity, functionality, and resilience.
Under its rear hatch beat the characteristic air-cooled, four-cylinder boxer engine, mounted in a rear position. In the 1300 or 1500 version depending on the market, it offered roughly 40 to 53 hp, enough for a light and efficient car. Paired with a four-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, it provided straightforward, honest driving and surprisingly solid performance for its size.
The 1967 model introduced important improvements: a 12-volt electrical system, optimized brakes, and small refinements in safety and comfort. These updates make it today one of the most valued years among enthusiasts, combining classic charm with greater usability.
Its true strength was not in the numbers but in its character. The Beetle was sturdy, easy to maintain, and capable of adapting to any environment, from European cities to American highways or rural roads in Latin America. It was a family car, a student vehicle, a work tool, and a cultural symbol at the same time.
More than a car, the 1967 Beetle represents an era. An industrial object that transcended its function to become a social phenomenon. Today it remains a deeply beloved classic piece, a reflection of simple yet brilliant engineering that achieved something extraordinary: to put the world on wheels with humility and its own personality.
Comes with a black wooden frame and acrylic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for transport without incidents until you have it in your hands. Exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm deep.
