Incredible collection consisting of 60 miniature sculptures from the famous series "The Country Bird Collection" (Oiseaux de Collection) published by Eaglemoss between 2002 and 2004. Each piece portrays a faithful portrait of European avifauna and is characterized by artistic craftsmanship focused on maximum realism.
The excellence of hand painting:
The distinctive value of these sculptures lies in meticulous hand painting. Each piece is a unique work thanks to artisanal finishing:
Texture and Depth: The color application is performed to highlight the grain of each individual feather, avoiding the flat look of mass-produced items.
Chromatic Realism: The plumages reproduce the colors of nature with delicate shading and realistic tonal transitions on the breast and wings.
Vital Detail: The eyes are finished with a glossy highlight to confer expressiveness to each subject, while the bases (moss, branches, and rocks) are painted in natural colors to create a diorama effect.
Lot Composition:
The collection is divided by year of production:
Series 2002: 16 sculptures (12 in good condition / 4 with minor signs of wear)
Series 2003: 23 sculptures (15 in good condition / 8 with minor signs of wear)
Series 2004: 21 sculptures (9 in good condition / 12 with minor signs of wear)
Conditions and Transparency:
Each single sculpture has been carefully checked.
43 specimens are presented in good condition.
17 specimens show the absence of small pieces (tip of beaks, tails or small ornamental details). It should be emphasized that these are millimetric omissions that are not so evident as to compromise the overall visual rendering or the aesthetics of the pieces once displayed.
Given the size of the lot and the high number of pieces, despite careful inspection, it is possible that some small detail may have escaped the overall assessment.
Please carefully observe the photo gallery: the images faithfully represent the lot and are an integral part of the description. The last part of the photographic sequence specifically shows the condition of the less perfect pieces.
Shipping and Professional Packaging:
Given the delicacy of the objects, the packaging will not be DIY but will be entrusted entirely to a Specialized Shipping Center. Each sculpture will be individually protected with professional materials and bubble wrap to ensure safe transport.
Restrictions: No shipments to Extra-EU countries and to islands not belonging to Italian territory (e.g., Canary Islands, Azores, overseas dependencies)
