Description from the seller

Beautiful and complete 37-piece French cutlery cassette from the prestigious luxury brand Maison Ercuis. This concerns the iconic model "Baryton", an absolute classic from the flourishing period of French Art Deco.

The model is immediately recognizable by the sleek, aerodynamic fan-shaped forms and the stepped, elegant grooves along the edges of the handle. This design perfectly reflects the modernist zeitgeist of the 1930s and 40s.

Composition of the set:
12 large soup spoons / dining spoons (Length: approx. 20.5 cm)
12 large dinner forks (Length: approx. 20.5 cm)
12 coffee / tea spoons (Length: approx. 13.8 cm)
1 large soup / ladle (Length: approx. 33 cm)

Hallmarks and Quality: All parts bear the official French master marks of Ercuis: the square hallmark with the iconic Centaur and the letters O-E (Orfèvrerie Ercuis).

Silver specifications: the large pieces are heavily silver-plated on the basis of the "84" gram standard; the teaspoons carry the "18" gram quality stamp. Also provided with the rectangular responsibility stamp "PV".

Condition: The set is in a beautiful, used vintage state with normal, light age- and usage-related signs (such as fine surface scratches) that come with the age. The silverware still retains its wonderful, deep luster and there is no sign of heavy wear through the silver layer.

Carefully view the detail photos for your own impression of the excellent quality of this lot.

The cutlery is packaged with the utmost care and professionalism. Shipping takes place via a reliable courier service, fully insured and equipped with a Track & Trace code, ensuring safe delivery.
