Märklin SignalModul 72441 set in H0 scale, four units with integrated signal and brake module, AC power supply, in very good condition, two in original packaging.
Description from the seller
Set of 4 Märklin SignalModules from the Digital program. Suitable for switching signals and enables an automatic braking path.
The items:
- 4 x Märklin 72441, SignalModul and brake module in one
Very good condition. Two in original packaging.
Track drive with integrated circuitry to regulate Digital locomotives with high-power drive, allowing them to stop. Connections for a signal with two aspects for the 3-rail sections, which are required to stop the locomotive safely. The brake module can be controlled either via a decoder K83 or via a conventional control panel 7272/72720. Dimensions 100 x 54 x 22 mm. The brake module requires 3 isolated track sections within signal range. The first section is a transition section, which has the length of a ski boot (about 70–90 mm). The second section is the actual braking portion, in which the locomotive brakes in a controlled manner. The length of the braking path is determined by the braking delay setting on the locomotive decoder. This second section should be at least 40–50 cm long. The third section is a safety section, in which, as always in signal sections, the running voltage is switched off. This prevents the locomotive from inadvertently overshooting the stop section.
The brake module is suitable for light signal (armseinen). Locomotives with built-in uncontrolled Digital or Delta electronics sometimes come to a stop in the braking section or only in the safety section. A clear setting is not possible. Therefore the use of the brake module 72441 together with uncontrolled drives is not highly recommended.
